Together We Rock

In the age of internet, when we are virtually connected with everyone all the time (Thanks to FaceBook and WhatsApp 😛 ), I believe being together in real (like literally) gets an even higher importance. Well, it surely does for me. I like “F2F” (face to face) more than chatting. Real emotions and feelings, the facial expressions and the smile trigger me towards happiness and awesomeness. I really get inspired, motivated and happy when I am with the ones I love, engaged in the conversations I like. As simple as that 😀

However, there is another ugly truth. It’s really hard to find people (apart from the family, whom we only interact with when the internet stops working 😛 and then do realize that they are awesome as well 😀 ) whom you can really open up to, who are real, with whom there is no pretense, with whom there is no hypocrisy, with whom you can just be yourself , and with whom you can discuss poop. 😛 Okay, you may not want to do the last one, but the rest of the things are bliss. 🙂 So whenever you come to realize you have found such people, hold on to them and never let them go. #Together

Housing believes in the inimitable power of optimism. Yes, it’s difficult to be optimistic all day, every day; but sometimes we just need a little nudge to get back on track! This is the time we need to be with the ones we love the most. It could also be the simple act of meeting a long lost friend, having a cup of tea with a parent, or going for a walk with your best friend. Most times, it’s the company that matters more than the advice, and that is the power of being #together! 🙂

It will be really hard to talk about the most memorable day, but I would like to talk about a recent most memorable incident of such “simple togetherness” that was awesome and filled me with optimism and bliss. It is memorable simply because it is still there, in top of my head and I can live the moment 🙂

The worst and also the best thing about college is the long travelling involved. Yes, I travel 2 hours each day to and from college, accounting to a total of 4 hours in the metro. And believe me, life in the metro has been too much happening. 😛 I can start a separate blog  on the “Metro Diaries” (I might just do that sometime 😀 ). It’s worst because it kills a lot of time and gets tiring as well. And of course the over crowding, something I hate the most. Anyways, the best thing about travelling in the metro is the time I get to spend with my close friends who share the same travelling route. Also when you are in the metro, you are well connected to any pace in Delhi and open to all the possibilities of going somewhere. You just need to have the right person with you, with whom you are comfortable exploring places and going to someplace new. And of course the other person needs to be as adventurous as you. If one of person is a good story teller, then it’s an absolute delight. 😀 So that is what recently was the deal, I was travelling with an amazing friend of mine and we just randomly decided and went to Sri Ram Centre to eat Chilli Potatoes 😛 while coming from college to home. The fun was catalyzed by the sharing of a very interesting story 😛 In a nutshell, it was just like another simple outing, but as it is very well said, the company matters, and that’s what made it special. 🙂 #Together
