So, I was in Hyderabad for an interview at the Indian School of Business (ISB) (They have a very sexy campus and amazing tennis courts, btw). 😀 I had a few hours before my return flight. I was roaming in the Inorbit Mall, Hitech City and checking out the Zomato App. I happened to notice a 4.5 rated eating joint named “dialogue in the dark” which was located in the mall itself. On browsing further and reading recommendations I found it was something worth to visit. It turned out to be quite an interesting experience. Something new and different. What I am in a constant lookout for 😀 Continue reading
Hi People 🙂
I have been nominated by Bhakti for the 3 day Quote Challenge. 😀 Thank you for nominating me for this challenge. Here is a quote for the day-3 of the challenge, and here I am choosing a quote inspired from a few lines of a poem: Invictus by William Ernest Henley. I came across the quote in the movie Invictus.

Hi People 🙂
I have been nominated by Bhakti for the 3 day Quote Challenge. 😀 Thank you for nominating me for this challenge. I read a hell lot of quotes and get inspired by them. However, the ones I am going to choose to share here are the ones that have stayed with me in my heart and don’t require me to look for them to recall them.

I am a god believing atheist. Sounds confusing? Of course it would sound confusing. But it should rather not sound confusing just because I have used an oxymoron but primarily because of the ambiguity involved in what it actually means to believe in God. So I read this book called, “How To Be an Existentialist, or How to Get Real, Get a Grip and Stop Making Excuses” by Gary Cox and I liked the book, hence I would like to give out a brief introduction about Existentialism in this post as I might later do another post on the takeaways from the book. 1. “Whatever Works”
I am a Woody Allen fan, and this is the title of one of his movies. I have also heard the reference of this phrase in some of his other movies too. It just suits a lot of situations you see. I am a relativist, I don’t believe in absolutism, every scenario, every situation is relative and its just about “Whatever Works” depending upon the situation, the people, the scenario and everything such. The reasons are what should make sense and hold value. Otherwise no situation is a right or wrong in itself, its whatever works. Like for example, a couple’s relationship stuff might sound weird to some, but its simply whatever works for the couple. Nothing else matters. Everywhere, it applies everywhere in my world. 😀 Continue reading
Highly inspired by my college’s Philosophical Society’s (Philosoc) first Panel Discussion on “Censorship and Freedom in India: Philosophical Issues”, I thought about commenting on the notion of freedom in itself through this post. Freedom is a highly discussed virtue in the philosophical word and many philosophical theories have encouraged and motivated the followers on the highly inspirational path of freedom. But what actually is freedom? How does one attain freedom? Is freedom good? Does it come with any conditions? Continue reading
- It’s Okay To Not Take Bath A Few Times: Okay, comm on now, I am sure everyone loves and follows this (with different degrees and thresholds however, which no one needs to say out loud 😛 ) We all have our own version of “A few times”, but this works out well 😀
